/ Provided Services
Shopify storefront build
A custom Shopify theme built around large, editorial-style product photography instead of a generic template.
Multi-currency checkout
Real local pricing at checkout across the site's 100+ supported currencies, not a rough conversion shown only at the last step.
Performance optimization
Trimmed page weight and lazy-loaded imagery so product pages stay fast enough to hold onto ski-season campaign traffic.
Size and fit guidance
Clear sizing and fit content addressing the most common pre-purchase question for a glove bought sight unseen.
/ Challenge
Alexski's early storefront looked the part but converted like an afterthought: slow product pages, a checkout that showed a rough currency estimate instead of real local pricing, and no way to show off the stitching and materials that justify a luxury price tag. Ski-season campaign traffic was arriving and bouncing before it reached checkout.
/ Solution
Digikons rebuilt Alexski on Shopify around the product's craftsmanship: full-bleed photography of the leather and stitching, a checkout that shows real local pricing instead of a rough conversion, and faster page loads that hold onto ski-season traffic instead of losing it to a slow first impression.
/ Tech Stack
Chosen deliberately for what this project actually needed, not a default stack applied to everything.
Shopify
The storefront, product catalog and checkout all run on Shopify.
Shopify Payments
Multi-currency checkout showing real local pricing for international customers.
Klaviyo
Email flows for abandoned cart recovery and post-purchase follow-up.
/ Client's Feedback
Every product photo used to look like a stock image. Now the site actually shows why the gloves cost what they cost, and the checkout stopped losing people the moment they saw a converted price instead of a real one.
